While I primarily focus on covering Yuri media there are times I also cover/review media featuring strong female leads. The following game is one such example even though the game primarily follows the male lead. Even so I anxiously wanted to check this game out and see whether it is worthy of the hype it got from people who played it. Let us find out as we take a look at Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana.
Yeah…I haven’t properly made this announcement here so let’s do it now.
To put it simply, Anime Island has closed its doors in April due to lack of motivation to continue running this side-blog.
The idea was to use Anime Island to talk about Non-Yuri or Girls Club media but there are certain reasons I decided to close AI’s doors:
1: Due to the unexpected large amount of stuff related to yuri and Girls Club media to cover this year.
2: There are many anibloggers out there who do a far better job covering anime and writing editorials about them than I ever could.
3: Loss of motivation because of #2.
Basically I will continue doing my thing at my main base of operations. Anime Island was a fun idea on paper but I could not motivate myself nor have enough time to make the best of it. So for people who subscribed to me here hoping for a special kind of aniblogger, my apologies but you can still find me at my main blog, The Yuri Nation.
Thank you to everyone who subscribed. Everything I have written here will remain online as memorabilia.
During the Winter 2016 season I will be checking out some anime that were named the favorites between 2014-2015 by some of my aniblogger pals. The first one will be one by Kai. This is Rage of Bahamut: Genesis.
